The setup guide (5 steps)

What it is

A guide that starts right after your first login. It takes you through five steps and at the end you have an active subscription and your property created.

Why you need it

Until you finish the guide, the website for your guests does not exist. This is the only way to launch it.

How to do it

Step 1 - Plan

1. At the top, switch between paying Monthly or Yearly. With yearly billing you pay the full amount at once and it works out cheaper.
2. Click the plan you want. You will find a comparison of the plans in the article Plans and prices.
3. If you received a promo code from us, enter it in the field below the plans and click Apply. You will see straight away how much the amount drops. The discount applies only to the subscription, not to one-off fees for assisted services.
4. Click Continue.

Step 2 - Your property

1. Enter the Name (e.g. Jasmine Guesthouse) - required.
2. Choose the Property type: Guesthouse, Hotel, Apartment / flat, Cottage / chalet, Hostel or Other - required.
3. Enter the City / town - required.
4. Choose the country. You can pick Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary or Poland.
5. Fill in the street, phone and number of rooms if you already know them. They are not required and can be added later.
6. Click Continue.

Step 3 - Website address

Choose one of three options. The article Your website address covers them in detail.

• Do it for me - a one-off fee of €99. We will contact you within 24 hours and set everything up.
• Migrate my existing website - a one-off fee of €299. We will move the photos, texts, rooms and prices from your current website.
• I'll do it myself - free of charge. Enter an address you already own and we will send you exact instructions. You can also enter the address later - this field is not required.

If you choose to migrate an existing website, you also have to tick the consent to start the work. Without it you cannot continue - the explanation is below in common problems.

Step 4 - Summary and payment

1. Check the plan, the property and the website address.
2. Click Proceed to payment.
3. We will redirect you to a secure payment page where you enter your card. The first payment covers the subscription and any one-off fee for an assisted service.

Step 5 - Done

You see a confirmation that the payment went through. Your account is active and the property is created. From here click Go to my account.

Common problems

I cannot continue from step 2. One of the required details is missing - the name, the type or the city. The system names the missing field in a red warning at the top.

The system will not accept my website address. The address has to be in the form myhotel.sk - that is, without https:// and without a trailing slash.

Why do I have to agree to something when migrating a website? The migration is one-off work we carry out for you on request. The law lets us start it before the 14-day withdrawal period ends only when you expressly ask us to. Once the migration is finished, the €299 fee is no longer refundable. The subscription is still refunded in full - you have a 30-day guarantee for that.

I entered a promo code and I do not see the discount. Campaigns are often tied to a specific plan. When you change the plan or the billing period, the code is checked again and the discount may change or disappear.

I interrupted the payment. Go back to ubytora.com and log in. The guide opens again at the payment step and your details stay filled in.
