Premium plan only Set up in your website administration

Restaurant, wellness and events

What it is

The Restaurant / Wellness / Events screen in the website administration. It has three tabs, one for each venue you run alongside the accommodation.

It is part of the Premium plan.

Why you need it

A guest is not only choosing a room. A restaurant, a sauna or a hall for a wedding often decides whether they choose you.

A section you switch on appears on the website both as its own page and as a chapter on the home page.

What the three tabs have in common

Each one works the same way:

  1. You switch it on with the Show section on the website toggle.
  2. You fill in the Section heading and the Description.
  3. You fill in the Opening hours. Write them freely, the way you would tell a guest - for example "Mon-Fri 11:00-22:00, Sat-Sun 12:00-22:00". Seasonal and irregular hours are fine.
  4. You add Photos with the Add photos button.
  5. Optionally you paste a Video link.
  6. You switch on the form with the Let guests send an inquiry toggle.

Photos count towards your plan storage - the same as the gallery.

The video does not count. It is not uploaded to us, it is only linked. Paste a link to a finished file in mp4 or webm format.

Restaurant - the menu

In the Menu block click Add item and fill in:

  • Name
  • Description (optional)
  • Price (€) - leave it empty if the price is on request. The guest then sees "On request".
  • Category (optional) - for example Starters, Main courses

Wellness - treatments

The same, except the block is called Treatments. An item is a massage or a treatment.

Events - halls

In the Halls block click Add hall and fill in:

  • Name and Area (m²)
  • Capacities by layout: Theatre, Classroom, U-shape, Banquet
  • Floor plan link (optional)

There is an important point about the capacities: an empty field does not mean "0 people". It means that layout cannot be arranged in the hall. Leave the ones you do not have empty.

A hall is never booked and never blocks dates. It is information for guests and a basis for inquiries, not a booking system.

Inquiries from guests

When you have Let guests send an inquiry switched on, a guest can send a message from that section. You will find it in the Received inquiries block on the same screen.

An inquiry is not a booking. It reaches you as an e-mail message, it blocks nothing and no dates are written anywhere. You have to get back to the guest yourself.

Inquiries have two states:

  • In progress - new, you have not dealt with it yet.
  • Resolved - you mark it with the Mark as resolved button. You can put it back with the Move back to in progress button.

Common problems

I switched the section on but it is not on the website. The section does not appear while it is empty. The system warns you about this - add a description, a photo or at least one item.

The tab has a padlock. These sections are part of the Premium plan.

I cannot upload another photo. Venue photos share storage with the gallery and the room photos. Delete old ones or move to a higher plan.

The video does not appear. The link has to lead directly to an mp4 or webm file, not to a page with a player.

A guest "booked" a hall through an inquiry. They did not. An inquiry blocks nothing - you have to confirm the date yourself.
